Aviva Carmen, CEO
Ms. Carmen founded 7 Habits Consulting in 2002 to offer high-quality, high-integrity computer consulting solutions to corporations. Her expertise in understanding clients’ requirements and translating them into productive business solutions has helped numerous companies save money, increase profits, and bring projects to closure on schedule.
Aviva was on the original staff of IBM’s move into retail, opening a store-front in Birmingham, Michigan for the sale of PC’s, software and consulting. She worked as a programmer analyst at Kmart Corporation headquarters in Troy, Michigan and at EDS Corporation. Ms. Carmen moved to the Bay Area in California in 1997 to join a tech startup providing automated, interactive answers to product questions for large companies. After 2 more startups – a web-based contact management software (top 100 in PC Magazine, 2000) and a company providing customizable web tours of sites, she returned to the large-corporation world, doing consulting at KLA-Tencor, Adobe , Mervyn’s, Catholic HealthcareWest and Charles Schwab Corporation.
Aviva has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and coursework towards an MBA from the University of Michigan. She has the PMP credential from Project Management Institute (PMI).
Ms. Carmen raised 7 children and lives in Palo Alto, California with her family. In her spare time, she plays classical music on the piano, and rewrites The Wizard of Oz.
Igor Turman, CTO
Igor has over 10 years engineering experience in several industries. He is a master technical professional, designing and programming software applications in Java, .net and C#. Mr. Turman understands what clients need without them having to express it clearly. He has developed expertise in developing enhancements to Microsoft Project Server as well, creating custom web parts and customized pages in Project Web Access using Visual Studio .net and SQL Reporting Services for custom executive dashboards. In addition, he helps companies implement Project Server by doing the technical installation of hardware and software for Microsoft Office Project Server 2003 and Microsoft Office Project Server 2007.
Mr. Turman has a degree from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Kyiv, Ukraine.
Igor lives with his wife and their new baby in San Jose, California.
