Depends if you mean working in a global project involving several countries, or project management in countries other than the U.S.. In the management of the project is similar worldwide, although U.S. . the Project Management Institute is best known in the rest of the world where IPMA is best known. In the United Kingdom in particular, / the PRINCE2 certification process is well known – not so much in the U.S.. Some national projects can be spread over many states, which has many of the same challenges that different countries. However, international projects, obviously, that the additional challenges of language, customs, import and export issues, local laws, local customs, security, exchange rates, time differences larger costs travel, international treaties, etc.

The principles are the same (planning, communication, monitoring, etc), but you have to be much better communication and more of an effort to call people instead of relying on email to maintain the employment relationship. Also the obvious things like organizing meetings that are common to several areas horarias.TambiƩn be aware of cultural differences and how they can affect the behavior of people.
