This book have all the information you need for have a good training you can choose whatever your condition, there are very goods training plans for everyone, this book do not have 5 stars, because i did not found any measure to see my performance, i mean time, so if i run 10 km in 30min. or 40min. or 1 hour, i would like to receive a status of my training.

I have yet to utilise this book. Have read it and although very comprehensive, I find all the codes used a bit daunting. I would imagine after using it for a while you would get used to all the codes, but at the moment it may sit on the shelf. There are other training guides that are more user friendly.

I wasn’t sure how much I would use this resource; I do plenty of coaching, so I know how to write my own training plans. But this text has been especially helpful for me in two respects: First, if I need to give someone a very basic, beginners’ plan, or if I’m not getting paid (ahem) for writing an in-depth training program, I can just pass on one of the programs in this book. That way I’m still helping them out, but without giving away a bunch of my time for free. Second, I usually don’t have the energy to write a detailed plan for myself from scratch. I do it for a living, you know? So it’s hard to make myself do it in my free time. But these training plans give me a starting plan, and from that point, I usually have the energy and desire to tweak it to fit my needs.

If you’re really serious about your triathlon training, this isn’t going to be enough–you should really hire a coach, or at least hire someone to write a race-specific training schedule for you. But if you’re just wanting a little more guidance in scheduling your workouts, or if you’re just getting started, this is a good book to have on your shelves.

I, too, bought it on the Kindle and agree with the other review – you cannont see the tables or training plans at all. It’s definitely a waste. It should not be offered in Kindle format.
