What kind of training should I focus on during slow times in sales & marketing?
ByThe economy is quite slow and sales activity is quite low. It is a good time to get some training and develop new skills / fix bad habits. What are some good topics for training that benefited from the use of sales and marketing? I’m not interested in the smoke and mirror sales training sessions, time management or leadership. Been there, done that. I’m more interested in the ideas of each box.

I work in commercial real estate. . . I hope my ideas are applicable to sales staff you.The love when asked his opinion or ask for their ideas. How about a round table of ideas to attract new customers / prospects or ask someone who is still producing good numbers to share some insight as to what they are doing. Theywill probably do b / c they are in the spotlight (all salespeople love) while you are helping b / c some of your sales team fighting could give an idea to bring in some new negocios.Otra idea if they are not busy having a meeting about the basics. “If they are to generate new business, they need to be to foster relationships that bring in repeat business. Remind them that the customer is the only reason they are there, ask everyone to write two handwritten notes in the meeting. Distribute blank cards and tell them, thanks to someone for a meeting I attended in the last week, and another asking someone they have met within the last week to serve. There must be a meeting to discuss sales, but perhaps only to establish a relationship that could bring a future sale. These relationships, drill them now, while they can focus on ella.Otra idea: talk to his team about putting a new spin on your product / service. Whatever it is that you provided, it should benefit your client, you must find a way to benefit you enough that weighs the cost of any service / product. sounds like another round table buena.Este is the kind of things I love, I hope it was useful / applicable to your computer.

FIRST: Get an account with Aweber. . . a very good automatic response. Once a month, send an email to your list that we talk about sales, promotions, new products, etc. offer something to customers who join the mailing list. . . discount future free report, I have even seen part without chocolate used as a incentivo.Digamos you get 50-100 people at your store every day. Only 10% would be emails 5.10 per day, or 150-300 per month. In six months is a list containing 900-1800 emails from people who have been in his shop, he agreed to receive emails and no longer have to sell. . . have been “pre-qualified. In other words, you know, your store, your products / servicios.Tenga into account that 80% of its business comes from 20% of its customers. A good autoresponder will let you stay in touch and bring people in puerta.Usted has three options: get more people in his tent, having people in your store to buy more and get people to come back more menudo.SEGUNDO: Put a simple sign in window on a promotion they receive when they arrive and provide your email address to enter his store. Even if they turn around and go, and you got the email. Half the battle is over. Third: Get a website if you do not already have one. If you do, hold the autoresponder Aweber or other to it. Now you can capture email addresses from your site as well. Again, offer some incentivos.CUARTO: Here is one to deal with bad habits; Ask a question that can answer “yes” or “no.” Never say “I can help you?” That’s the worst… is so easy to say “no” that. In contrast, the commentary on the article you are viewing. It gets to talk about what they want, need, want. They are sold on the features and benefits of the item under consideration.

I honestly believe that most sales is the mental strength. How many times can face rejection and move on? eliminate the negative comments focus on the positive. I’m not talking about a whole beautiful Pollyanna attitude is im talking about the good ego strength. We can only take so much rejection. The happiest are the best, because we can sell our confidence is high. Focus on things outside sales that give you joy then when its time to work of all the extra joy that the training will give you even more reason to go after him. favorite book The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino. No tricks, just feeding his mental strength, increasing its rate of rejection. good luck
